Below are a number of resources available in British Columbia. Please note, this is not an exhaustive list, nor can the CWHWC vouch for the trans-inclusive practices of all the employees, volunteers or clients connected to these resources.

8-1-1

A free-of-charge provincial health information and advice phone line available in British Columbia. This line is operated by HealthLink BC, which is part of the Ministry of Health.

“bc211 is a nonprofit organization that specializes in providing free information and referral regarding community, government and social services in BC. Our help line services include 211, the Alcohol and Drug Information and Referral Service (ADIRS), the Problem Gambling Help Line, VictimLink BC, and the Youth Against Violence Line.”

Centres:

RISE Community Health Centre

RISE provides gender affirming primary care and health promotion group services. Clients can self-refer using this form.

Three Bridges Community Health Centre

Those 25 and older must live in Catchment Area #1. Youth under 25 years old are welcome regardless of where they live.

Raven Song Community Health Centre

Those 25 and older must live in Catchment Area #5. Youth under 25 years old are welcome regardless of where they live.
