TransRightsBC
We’re really excited to announce the launch of TransRightsBC! TransRightsBC is a multimedia resource designed to promote awareness of trans rights in the province of British Columbia. It addresses topics such as employment, housing, education, health care, public spaces & services, police & prison, parenting, harassment & violence, and immigration & refugee issues.
The website contains:
- Information and downloadable fact sheets about trans rights
- A series of videos about trans rights
Profiles of trans activists who have stood up for our rights
- An online training module for service providers.
This project was made possible by a grant from the Law Foundation of BC. It was a joint project of the Catherine White Holman Wellness Centre and the Transgender Health Information Program, with the help of a whole host of community members.
