New Drop In Support Group!
We are very excited to announce that we are offering a new drop-in support group for trans and gender diverse people!
Our very first support group is running this Sunday March 10th from 3:00 to 4:30pm. The topic for this first session will be “Belonging.” The session will begin with a welcome, introductions, and the creation of group agreements. Afterwards, we will collectively read a short story by Ivan Coyote and use this to delve into the topic of belonging.
There is no charge to participate and snacks will be provided. The group will be held in a wheelchair accessible space. Please visit https://cwhwc.com/location/accessibility/ for full accessibility details, courtesy of the Radical Access Mapping Project.
This support group will continue to run during each of our Sunday clinics (once a month), from 3:00 to 4:30pm.
It will be facilitated by Riel Dupuis-Rossi (a Registered Clinical Counsellor) and Tash Wolfe (an experienced peer facilitator).
If you have any questions about the group, please email contactus@cwhwc.com.
